Nord Engineers acted as Structural Design & Detailing Consultant for this industrial building and truck loading shed for a rice mill. The scope included structural and foundation design for a 3-storey steel-framed industrial building (30 m × 35 m), with approximately 300 MT of fabricated structural steel and a deep pile foundation system up to 22 m depth. The project was designed for Indian Seismic Zone IV.
Combining a 3-storey industrial building with a truck loading shed required coordinated structural and foundation design, including deep piles in potentially variable soil conditions, while keeping steel tonnage efficient and meeting seismic demands.
Nord Engineers delivered complete structural and foundation design, including optimized steel framing for the 30 m × 35 m building and a deep pile foundation system extending to 22 m depth, with full compliance to Indian Seismic Zone IV.
